Dr. Lori Gore-Green

     Dr. Lori Gore-Green is a compassionate and attentive Obstetrician, Gynecologist and Gynecologic Surgeon with a 15-year history of caring for women's gynecology and pregnancy needs.      She is a Women's Health Care Advocate who emphasizes a pro-active method to patient care.  She engages her patients in self-awareness and self-involvement regarding their health management and has witnessed numerous patient success stories with this physician-patient approach.      Dr. Lori Gore-Green has diagnosed life-threatening conditions throughout her career that have saved or prolonged the lives of women and their babies each year. Health care is her life's ministry.      Her concern for people is not limited to her patients.  She is active in communities and is involved in various organizations.  In addition, she directs/organizes and participates in community health fairs that have saved the lives of men, women and children by diagnosing life-threatening illnesses that were unknown to them.      Dr. Gore-Green was honored by the Oklahoma State Senate and the House of Representatives in 2013 and 2014 as the "Doctor of the Day".  Some of her other honors include the following: Public Health Advocate of the Year, Extraordinary People Award, Leadership Service Award and Community Services Awards.      During her career, she has demonstrated leadership as an OB/GYN Department Chairperson and passed on her legacy of patient-benevolence to the residents, interns and students she has taught and trained as a Clinical Associate Professor of OB/GYN and the OMECO OB/GYN Residency Program Director.      Presently, Dr. Gore-Green is the Health Committee Chairperson of the District Forum in the city of Tulsa.  Through the Health Committee, the Faith Health Partners organization has emerged as a pilot program that will bridge the faith community (churches) and health community (hospitals) into a health-care partnership.  This organization will shadow the successful Congregational Health Network program in Memphis, Tennessee in which participating churches will use a liaison who will communicate with a hospital contact person (navigator) regarding individuals who are in need of hospital services.  This partnership will avoid delays in hospitalization, ensure post-discharge management, decrease frequent re-admissions, decrease health care costs and most importantly...save lives.      Dr. Gore-Green is excited about her future opportunity to significantly impact health care and health education in the city of Tulsa.  Where there is interest in health awareness, Dr. Gore-Green makes herself available for the betterment of the community.
